We need you to help us do this.Why this role mattersThe purpose of the SACM Role is to ensuring that Configuration Management identify, controls and accounts for service assets and CIs ensuring their integrity across the service lifecycle.The role works closely with the Customer/Suppliers and key stakeholder groups internally while maximizing value and reducing incidents, disruption and re-work.Key Deliverables:- • Quarterly Recompetition Data Drop • DFTS Exit - Requests for Information (RFI) • DFTS Exit - Recomp Data Queries (RD) • DBI CMDBWhat you'll be doing• Taking ownership and proactively fixing complex customer focused solutions• Customer Champion in everything they do cutting through complexity, overcoming obstacles and demonstrate leadership and direction to the customer• Accountable for authorising and control of end to end SACM processes and procedures and integrity and quality of the SACM database• Responsible for overseeing Client and Regulatory Audit and ad hoc CM report requests• Representing SACM at BT and supplier/customer meetings• Take personal responsibility for delivering local SLAs, OLAs and KPIs and Produce and maintain the CM Plan, Policy and associated documentation and production of all associated reporting internal and some external customer requirementsWe'll also need to see these on your CV• The ability to interact successfully at all levels of the internal and customer organisations • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Good presentational skills • Excellent numeric skills • Relationship Management Skills • Excellent overall understanding of the ITIL framework, specifically the functions and linkages of Service Transition and Change Management • Good understanding of CM methodology working in a CM environment with knowledge and experience of complex Service Management activities • Experience of report writing for senior management • Excellent people skills and practical experience of working in teams • Organisation/ prioritisation skills • Some contracts may require security clearance to SC or full level • Licence Management experienceExperience you would be expected to have• To be fully conversant with the Tools & Processes • Proven Configuration/SACM Mgt experience to ITIL standards - aspiration to be qualified to ITIL intermediate level • Knowledge and experience of ISO20k and • Preferably advanced excel skills • Proven track record of working collaboratively to develop better ways to work together • Thorough understanding of customer/contract or programme • Knowledge and experience of ISO20k and ISO27001 standards, working in an ITIL conformant organisation. • ITIL Awareness - aspiration to be qualified to Intermediate levelWhy choose us?We have around 1.2 million customers and serve over half the FTSE 350.
