United Kingdom - Glasgow, GlasgowJob SummaryJob Duties:Lead Multi Discipline Design Team (MDDT) commissions, taking responsibility for their succesful delivery.Provide oversight Line Management to Discipline Team Leaders, including Senior Mechanical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Senior Architectual Lead, Senior C+S EngineerEnsure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on timeGeneral line management responsibilities are effectively discharged and the Design Team is led effectivelyStrong relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional teamBusiness development opportunities with existing and new clients are identified and acted upon, including cross-selling opportunitiesBe the primary interface with AECOM clients (New and Existing) supported by the DirectorProvide Leadership within the MDDT and provide leadership and mentoring to the teamEnsure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant trainingManage the delivery of outputs, in accordance with agreed time-scales and quality standardsCo-ordination and sign off on all management information produced by MDDT prior to issueTo 'win' clients through strong business development skillsManagement of tender documents, appraisals and negotiations working along with Department Head and DirectorMinimum RequirementsDefence, Public Authority, Health, Education, Commercial, Residential, Hotels and LeisureExperience in a Client Management role - able to manage the account in terms of projects that are 'live', while seeking new opportunities which is required to work on the frameworks our teamExperience as a manager in a comparative businessYou must be able to achieve UK government security clearance which is required to work on the frameworks our team is servicing.Preferred QualificationsProfessionally Qualified - ideally Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Architectural DegreeChartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institutionPrince 2 or MSP experienceGood understanding of contractsCSCS cardUK National - Security Clearance will be required if succesfulDriving LicenceNEC3 ExperiencedYour benefits will include:Helping our employees achieve a healthy work-life balance is important to us.
