•Finance and Administration•MASS COMMODITIESFUNCTIONSJOB DESCRIPTIONAs an Operational Risk Manager, you will be responsible for the monitoring and oversight of operational risk associated with the operations and activities performed at for Global Currencies and Commodities Group (GCCG). You will assist in the evaluation and assessment of current and proposed policy, procedure and control changes that may impact risk mitigation. In addition, you will assist area management in the initiation of project plans focused on the use of control environment best practices and leverage technology solutions. Where applicable, you will provide targeted training to foster employee understanding of complex control issues.KEY DUTIESDevelopment and maintenance of process risk and control profilesImplementation of the risk management and key risk indicator framework;Interpretation of environmental and industry risk trendsThe establishment of governing policiesThe review and approval of new business activities, policies and procedures relative to risk exposureDevelopment and hosting of training programs to improve understanding and commitment to risk management activitiesAnalysis of complex risk and control weaknesses to identify and quantify risk exposure.REQUIREMENTSQUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDSix to eight years of related professional experience. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. Managerial or supervisory experience preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of financial / process auditing, project management and training development techniques. DEMONSTRABLE SKILLS REQUIREDAbility to understand and interpret the impact of policy and procedural changesAbility to generate workflow diagrams to identify and convey potential problem areas. Comprehensive knowledge of banking processes and activitiesExcellent computer skills ? MS Office, MS Project, Visio Professional. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Excellent time management and planning skills required. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or manage project teams as necessary. Ability to influence Line Managers to ensure buy-in for Risk and Controls agenda / initiatives
