2nd line support (VIP support, Win 7/8/10, Active Directory, Office 2010/2013,O365, Sharepoint, Networks, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)

£30k plus benefits

As 2nd line support you will be responsible for providing helpdesk incident management and resolution, support for the delivery of new and existing service solutions, and overall helpdesk service operations.

The Role

You will work in close partnership with Information Services colleagues to support the company infrastructure and computer systems including:
  • Prompt and efficient triage of Tier 1 and 2 incidents, management and resolution.
  • Prompt escalation and collaboration in relation to tier 3 incidents.
  • Logging of all incidents using ServiceNow.
  • Procurement and provision of computer equipment and peripherals to employees.
  • Tier 1 and 2 administration and monitoring of Backups, Active Directory, Mail filters, Anti-Virus and other operational tools.
  • Client software/hardware installation and configuration.
  • User and team training, and guidance on best practices.
  • Project support to IS colleagues.
  • Completion of appropriate Compliance documentation.
