Excellent part-time Accounts Payable Clerk position!!!

Your new company
Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting exclusively for a long term temporary accounts payable clerk for a manufacturing company on the outskirts of east Nottinghamshire.

Your new role

In your new role as accounts payable clerk you will be responsible for processing the purchase ledger invoices, matching and coding. You will be responsible for managing the shared mailbox and setting up the weekly payment run, adding new suppliers. You will process twice monthly the currency-based payments and process the BACS payments weekly. You will be required to undertake any ad hoc finance duties as requested by the Finance Manager.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recent and relevant accounts payable or purchase ledger invoice. You will need to be immediately available as this is a long term temporary assignment (for up to 12 months). You will need to be highly organised and have excellent communication skills. This is a part time role 30 hours per week Monday - Thursday (4 days per week) and you may need to flexible if they require a 5th day (Friday) to be worked.
