A pioneering and rapidly growing FMCG business who develop and own disruptive and recognizable brands in the drinks industry. Our client is responsible for everything from import, distribution, brand development to online retail.

Senior Commercial Financial Analyst:

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance the Commercial Financial Analyst will support the decision-making process via business partnering and provide business intelligence. Your role will be to improve decision making, with value added analysis and business critical reports. Identifying opportunities and risks whilst being a consultant on new product projects.

Essentials of the job:
  • Support decision making in the commercial and sales teams, including bid support for commercial agreements
  • Analysing large datasets to monitor performance, highlight trends and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
  • Support the production of weekly and monthly financial reporting packs and commercial performance review presentations.
  • Developing robust quality assurance and consistency of data processes to ensure all financial performance information & reporting is accurate and delivered on time.
  • Helping to develop new reports & performance measures in conjunction with and fully utilising the groups existing commercial Analytics team and Dev.
  • To review stock levels, and to create volume strategies for low Rate of Sale stock
  • To be a NetSuite Super user, Adaptive Super User and understand all linking systems.
  • To support the production of Latest Estimates, rolling Forecasts and Budgets.
  • To coordinate new to world product pricing, liaising with various teams, Marketing, Brand, Commercial, Production and Manufacturing teams
  • Support business cases to senior stakeholders within the business.

Experience, skills and qualifications
  • (CIMA or ACCA) Studier or Qualified through experience
  • Analytical and logical problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way
