Adecco are currently recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for a Customer Support Administrator to join their team based within the IT Department.

The purpose of the role is to provide a professional and customer focused first point of contact, and first line resolution for issues and support to all customers visiting the Department.

Whilst working in this role you will liaise with IT users, colleagues and 3rd parties by phone and face to face, supporting the provision of services and equipment.

Duties of the post include:
  • Responsible for ensuring that all calls/requests to the reception desk are correctly logged and that all enquiries, actions and investigations are properly recorded within the service management tool
  • Providing first line fault resolution for routine issues and providing advice and guidance as appropriate
  • Act as one of the main gate keepers for the issue and receipt of equipment from customers in and out of the department, ensuring accurate management and logging of all assets
  • Assist with the preparation, building and configuration of equipment for delivery to customer
  • Maintain regular contact with the customer and take ownership of calls on behalf of the department as appropriate

Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- Experience of working within a face to face customer service environment

- Some experience of IT issue resolution

- Experience of maintaining accurate records

- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy with good attention to detail

- Competent with IT and familiar with using all aspects of Microsoft Office

Working hours are Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week within standard office hours.

Role is based at Cheshire Constabulary's Headquarters in Winsford. On-site parking is available, and facilities include a canteen and gym.

The successful applicant will be required to successfully pass an in-depth background check before commencing role.
