Service Desk Manager - New Barnet - Up to 50K - MSP

A fast-growing Managed Service Provider based in New Barnet is looking for their first Service Desk Manager due to an exciting expansion.

We are looking for someone who is experienced and ambitious to manage a team of 1st to 3rd line technical engineers. The position will include proposed process and system changes where necessary and work with closely with Directors to ensure optimal business growth and performance. This person is responsible for prioritising and the organisation of work load and dealing support management.

Service Desk Manager Experience:

- Prior Service Desk Management experience
- Working with SLAs / Service Levels
- Developing and improving a successful service desk in an MSP environment.
- Ensuring KPI's are set and met for service desk engineers, including, for example, time logging against customers / projects and number of tickets resolved.
- Implementing Monitoring tools and ticket management
- 1-2-1's

Hands on experience is not essential we work with an array of technologies including Windows, Servers, Exchange, Office 365, VMware and Networking Technologies and moving heavily into the cloud space.

You will be have the ability to inspire a team, be a great communicator and have a natural desire to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The successful Service Desk Manager should have strong problem solving abilities, organisational skills and the abiltiy to take ownership of a team.
