KCR Solutions are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for an excellent client in Gosforth.
Contract - 14 month maternity cover
Salary - £18,000 to £22,000

Responsibilities

Financial Operations
  1. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures
  2. Protect Company proprietary and confidential information
  3. Cash allocations and Bank Reconciliations

UK Credit Control
  1. Manage customer receipts (credit card, direct debit & other sources), ensuring payments are appropriately allocated
  2. Identify, communicate and collect receivables for delinquent accounts
  3. Monitor and validate all billing transactions from multiple systems issuing adjustments as needed
  4. Interface with internal sales and customer service teams on customer enquiries
  5. Research and resolve customer enquiries and any payment discrepancies
  6. Perform account/payment reconciliations
  7. Management of credit lines with customer and partners including credit checking

Reporting
  1. Aged debt ageing and reporting analysis
  2. Seek opportunities for continuing improvements and streamlining
  3. Reporting and business processes to enable management to more
  4. Effectively and efficiently manage our customers and partners

Education & Experience Requirements:
  1. Qualified or part qualified Accountant, or similar Credit Control accreditation
  2. Finance/Accounting experience,
  3. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  4. Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Must be detail oriented, with ability to multi-task and problem solve
  6. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be a self-starter
  7. Ability to develop relationships with key contributors within, and outside of the Company
