Our current portfolio covers rivers and coastal engineering, flood risk management, pipelines and networks, and water/wastewater treatment. You will contribute to, and manage, the preparation of outline and detailed civil engineering designs, technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules. This will often involve the coordination of resources across other offices - particularly Reading and Cambridge. During the course of these activities, you will be expected to seek out cost savings and identify innovations, ensuring the delivery of the best solution in the most efficient manner. You will also mentor junior staff in the Brighton team, providing them with vital guidance in the development of their careers, as your seniors will provide you with support in the development of yours. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in business development work - contributing to, or leading, bids with both existing and new clients, potentially in new markets.
