What they are looking for:

They are looking for an experienced, pragmatic front-end developer to join their IT software team. The developer will be working within the development team on the creation of a new cloud platform based on microservices to support the company's growing business.

Must have:
  • 3+ years' experience at mid to senior level in a commercial software development environment
  • Excellent front-end skills and knowledge of HTML5, CSS/SASS, and Modern JavaScript (ES6/ES2015+)
  • Experience developing with React, Redux and related technologies
  • Excellent knowledge in tools (npm, webpack and related technologies) and 'best practices'
  • Experience writing clean, reusable and modular code
  • Ability to translate UI design to web applications
  • Experience working in Agile teams from user stories and feature requirements
  • Experience working with web services (XML/JSON/REST)

Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of PHP 7 or Laravel
  • Experience with microservices
  • TDD approach
  • GIT Workflow experience
  • Background knowledge of Fintech (insurance)
  • Experience with full stack development
