The team at Vospers are currently recruiting for an IT Support Engineer and want to hear from you!

The main purpose of a Vospers IT Support Engineer is to deliver on all related Company objectives by providing technical expertise in the design, development and support of the companies IT infrastructure.

Work closely with the Group IT Solutions Manager to ensure reliable, cost effective IT business solutions are implemented to provide a secure, reliable and modern IT infrastructure.

Core Duties

·Technical leadership - expert in leading the technical delivery of IT Solutions

·Project management - deliver improvement projects within the technology roadmap

·Internal operations - lifecycle management of Servers, Networks, Security, Storage and Disaster recovery

·General activity

Technical leadership

·Provide technical expertise in supporting and developing the IT infrastructure

·Resolve complex faults which cannot be resolved by IT Service Desk staff

·Implement and control suitable network monitoring processes and procedures to ensure high availability of systems and ensure continued customer satisfaction

·Recognize and report system deficiencies and implement effective solutions

·Create, execute and maintain technology plans to meet the changing needs of the customer Responsible for identifying and reporting security vulnerabilities and technical risks and then recommend and implement risk mitigation.

Annual leave: 22 days a year plus 8 days bank holiday
