Service Engineer (Roller Shutter Doors)


Competitive Salary + Overtime + Average of 10 to 15 Hours Overtime Per Week Available (not mandatory) + 22 Days Holiday + Plus Bank Holidays + Pension + Company Van

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced roller shutter or sectional door Service Engineer to join an exciting and expanding business. You will also earn a highly competitive basic salary with the opportunity to maximize earnings with overtime when available.

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working in the Roller Shutter and Sectional Door industry. You will have previous experience of fault diagnosis, repair, service, upgrades and installation work.

The role itself is widely varied, you will cover a patch with boundaries from Northampton to Southampton but the majority of the work is expected to be in London and the Home Counties, plus no stay away's required. Your day to day tasks will usually include call outs, routine maintenance, quoted works and safety upgrades; you will be working on roller shutters and sectional door equipment. The current customer base is made up from domestic properties through property management companies but other sectors would be considered.

The company currently specialise in professionally supporting customers with automated gates and barriers but are looking to expand into Roller Shutters as they see an opportunity to bring a new approach to this industry. As the business grows, the Directors expect that you will have the opportunity to grow and develop this area of the business. You will enjoy an autonomous role and really make the position your own. The right candidate will be able to proactively work with the Directors to recommend and recruit a team of their own, effectively heading this business unit, moving into a more supervisory and then managerial position.

The Role:
