The Role

At RSA Liverpool, we have an opportunity to join our thriving Finance team in our Finance centre of Excellence.

Your main responsibilities will be:

* Monitoring and managing the financial performance of the business
* Month end and QBR processes
* Supporting P&L in preparation for internal result announcements
* Ensuring the content of reports/analysis are timely, accurate, complete, based on reasonable assumptions and provide true and insightful picture of the performance position together with associated risks/opportunities
* Developing strong relationships across the finance and wider business community and managing stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of outputs
* Communicating and liaising with colleagues in order to understand and investigate financial performance and developing opportunities
* Gathering, validating and compiling quantitative and qualitative information / data from multiple internal and external sources
* Preparing plans, forecasts and reports on a regular or ad hoc basis to meet the needs of internal customers/stakeholders, within agreed timescales
* Contributing to a wide variety of projects and initiatives including strategic reviews, change initiatives and corporate transactions

The Individual

Minimum skills and experience required

* Stakeholder management and engagement
* Ability to understand and interpret complex data into meaningful analysis
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA fully qualified
* Experience in a large matrix organisation
* Ability to adapt to ever changing requirements
* Excellent communications and influencing skills

Based on Old Hall Street in the heart of Liverpool's thriving commercial district you will find the RSA Liverpool office. The site is home to c.1000 RSA colleagues including our Finance Centre of Excellence that boasts 170+ Finance professionals and RSA Motability business which is run in partnership with The Motability charity. We also have teams on site from Personal Lines, HR, Audit, Global Risk Solutions, Claims and our Group Corporate Centre functions. The office has recently been refurbished and boasts a warm and friendly environment. The onsite team are dedicated to putting people at the heart of the business and have an onsite room dedicated to mindfulness.
