Fantastic opportunity for an aspiring E-Commerce Manager!


An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the business for an E-Commerce Manager. This role will involve day to day management of the Company's ecommerce platforms, in addition to devising a long term ecommerce strategy, you will be responsible for project managing all web specific projects. The successful candidate has a unique opportunity to shape and evolve the ecommerce functions and strategy for the platforms which have recently been launched and ensure that the customer journey is continually reviewed and improved and seamless.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To manage and co-ordinate all ecommerce activities from idea to execution for the Company.
Development of the Company's ecommerce strategy in line with organisational objectives and be comfortable with challenging and aspirational objectives.
Overall responsibility for ecommerce activity and project delivery.
Expand and develop ecommerce platforms to enhance each site and ensure it stays relevant and ahead of technical barriers such as google algorithms etc. on top of industry trends.
Ensuring our ecommerce platforms remain optimised and customer centric at all times, continue to improve conversion and regular AB Testing.
Planning and implementing promotional campaigns (supplied by marketing) in order that all stakeholders are aware and prepared for planned activity.
Briefing in technical requests to developers and building strategic relationships with third party suppliers.
Accountability for the management of the web specific technical deliveries to ensure funds are allocated and invested wisely.
Generally provide assistance, cover and support within the team and in all areas of the business as and when required.

The ideal candidate may have

A university degree or strong ecommerce background.
Previous experience within a webmaster role.
Strong wordpress experience and solid digital outlook.
Gravitas to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in online merchandising tools to ensure maximum sales growth.
Experience in implementing technical SEO so the site is consistently best in class.

Time Management prioritise and manage workloads to achieve deadlines whilst maintaining quality and accuracy of work at all times.
Critical-thinking and Problem-solving work with relevant parties to find business focused solutions.
Customer Centric always putting the customer at the heart of what we are doing.
Relationships monitor the interface between our employees, our customer, our suppliers and other areas of the business.
Procedures monitor procedures and escalate issues.
Performance monitor performance and escalate issues.
Meetings attend and contribute to meetings as and when required.
Reporting submit all required reports within agreed timescales checking for quality and accuracy prior to circulating.
Property ensure that all the equipment used by the Team is cared for and maintained to agreed standards to protect company property.Knowledge continuously develop your own knowledge of the business: our customer, our objectives, our products and our services.
