My client is looking for a Database Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Database Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the CRM database (currently thankQ), as well as providing insightful and accurate data to underpin strategic fundraising and marketing campaigns.

This role would suit someone that already has strong Database Management skills or an Analyst that is looking for the next step in their career.

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing quality supporter data that will underpin fundraising and marketing campaigns. This role is also responsible for providing in-depth reporting, analysis and insight. Supporting teams from across the Income Generation and Communications department, the role will be instrumental in turning insight into action.

Skills and experience needed;

·Excellent technical knowledge of managing CRM databases (preferably thankQ but not essential)

·Principles of database marketing and how to get the most from CRM systems

·Data protection and other regulations concerning the use of data

·Strong stakeholder management skills

·Undertaking complex pieces of analysis, drawing out insight and making recommendations

·Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, data matching, statistical tools)

·Good analytical skill and mind set

·Strong communication skills

·Good numeracy skills

·Strong interpersonal skills

·Highly organised approach to work

·Ability to manage large data sets thought such tools as SQL, PowerBI, etc. - Desirable
Working in the charity sector and in a Fundraising environment - Desirable
