Responsible for the provision of clear and consistent HSE information, advice, guidance, training and monitoring.Ensuring HSE standards are established in the region, maintained and developed to deliver both statutory and non-statutory obligations. Providing a robust advisory service to managers and supervisors on the development and leadership of HSE culture. Liaising effectively with Customers' safety teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Actively sponsor and promote a positive Safety, Health and Environmental culture across the region's operations
  • Provide advice embracing all areas of HSE management including risk assessment, workplace inspections, audits and investigations
  • Record and report on near miss, incident and accidents occurrences including improvement notices
  • Proactively monitor, measure and report on HSE performance following Company and Customer policy and procedure
  • Engage with Customer's HSE process and policy, building strong HSE performance metrics across the region
  • Act as Company's HSE Representative at Contractor and Customer forums, enhancing Company HSE profile and reputation
  • Advise Operations Management team on all HSE related matters
  • The successful candidate must hold a recognised professional qualification in Health and Safety, preferably NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and a background working within a heavy manufacturing environment, with a knowledge of oil, gas and chemical processes and operations.
