Geography Teacher required in North West Leicester.

The Role

* Start date: 27th August 2019
* End date: 3rd April 2020 (maternity cover)
* Subject: Geography Teacher
* Timetable: Full-time
* Interviews: ASAP
* Pay: MPS - £121.64 to £179.53 p/d

The school are currently looking to appoint a qualified PGCE/QTS Teacher of Geography. The full-time role will include all relevant aspects of such a position (marking, prep, report writing, form tutor etc). Experience of teaching at both GCSE (Edexcel) and A level (OCR) is essential. It may also be expected that you accompany students on field trips, some of which are residential.

You will be required to plan, mark and assess all work completed by all students. You will be patient and supportive with strong communication skills and be required to build a good relationship with your students to nurture their academic and personal development.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic classroom teacher who will create an environment that will inspire, motivate and challenge the students. Swift applications would be desirable as the school would like to recruit immediately for this vacancy.
