Due to continued growth, the DG Group are looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Apprentice to complement an existing team! The role will be varied with no two days the same and will suit someone who seeks challenge and relishes success.

DG is a strong local brand and with that, are looking for someone who will own the brand and take it to the next level!

Salary, Hours & Benefits
  • £8,190 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 8am - 3pm
  • 20 days holiday entitlement (plus bank holidays)

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be working within a small team, where there is a strong emphasis on staff development and training.

Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Social Media Management
  • Copy Writing and Content Creation with Social Reach being paramount.
  • Identification of local content that drives Social Media engagement
  • Blog Writing and optimisation for AMP and Facebook Instant Articles
  • Social Customer Support via our channels (not limited to 9-5)
  • Identification of new digital opportunities
  • Competitor Analysis
  • Strong design skills that include video creation
  • A reactive attitude when needed to respond to issues when they occur
  • Google My Business Management

Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.

  • Good English GCSE qualification.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to take direction and constructive criticism.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Passion to work in Digital Marketing

  • Ability to contribute fresh new ideas
  • Great communicator with a confident, friendly and positive attitude
  • Good organisational and planning skills

DG cars head office is based in Nottingham NG2 with onsite parking and great access to public transport. A short 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop on Trent Lane - 20-minute bus journey to Nottingham Centre.
