Job description
Safran Engineering Services UK Limited, part of the wider Safran Group, is seeking to recruit a passionate and committed Key Customer Business Manager to be primarily based in the Aylesbury area whilst remaining flexible in terms of travel and place of work within the South East of the UK. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will manage key customer business activity under his/her responsibility. RESPONSIBILITIES: Developing a business strategy for allocated key customers.Oversee and direct project teams deployed with his/her key customers to ensure successful project implementation in line with the relevant approved business case. Develop and secure new projects in line with the UK business unit strategy. Be the primary key customer focal for all business interactions within the designated eastern region. MAIN ACTIVITIES:To support the General Manager in the strategy development for his/her key customers and in the overall deployment of such strategy and general Business Unit objectives. Translate the BU strategy into an industrial budget to enable financial and operational planning for the BU.Flow down objectives for allocated staff and other associated line management responsibilities. Ensure all projects performed in respect of his/her allocated Key Customers are managed and resourced to ensure achievement of all project deliverables and the BU's financial objectives. Ensure development of staff in terms of expertise as well as customer awareness and overall BU strategy.Induce an atmosphere of respect, equality and responsibility.Manage customer relationships against BU commitments whilst balancing the business needs of the SES organisation.Support the deployment of all SES divisional objectives where relevant to the UK business unit.

Candidate skills & requirements
Minimum 5 years management experience in an engineering focussed role, complimentary to complex engineering biased industries such as Aerospace or Automotive. Customer focused, self motivated with a high level of organisational skills. Strong communicator at all levels both internally within SES and externally with tier 1 and tier 2 customers.Fluent in English - written and verbal.Excellent people management skills and experience Flexibility will be required in terms of travel and place of work Job location
