This include providing internal and market analytics, leading the procurement execution of sourcing projects, facilitating continuous improvement and ideation as well as assist in Supplier Relationship Management. The procurement specialist will focus on bringing sourcing expertise and innovative solutions, which deliver value, manage risk and accelerate the pace of our businesses.Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Implement procurement strategy across various countries and categories by determining appropriate methods of procurement; role dependent on category and project complexity and in accordance with organizational objectives and sourcing strategies.Provide internal and market analytics to support development of strategic category plans, country performance and budget management processes as required. Lead the procurement execution of sourcing projects which include:Influence specifications as required for sourcing project.Preparation of competitive go-to-market events (screening of potential sources, solicitation of bids, quotations and proposals).Lead in evaluating competitive offerings to determine the overall best offer for goods or services; Prepare for and/or lead supplier negotiations and implementation depending on category complexity (supplier visit, identify performance indicator, review product availability and/or pricing information). Assist in the preparation of and/or issue contracts for legal review and approval. Maintains agreement files as required.Facilitate continuous improvement and ideation, which deliver value, manage risk and accelerate the pace of our businesses. Assists in resolving issues raised in purchasing audit reports.Support supplier relationship management through development and delivery of performance metrics including risk management efforts as required in category; Support management of compliance and non-compliance to the preferred supplier listMinimum Requirements:Strong written and verbal communication skills;Strong analytical skills;Fluent in German;Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel;Proved ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively.Proved ability to utilize technology systems (e.g. Ariba).Bristol-Myers Squibb recognizes the importance of balance and flexibility in our work environment.
