You will collaborate with a number of teams, as we work with project managers and engineering teams to ensure we achieve on-time delivery of projects to continue to progress our business.We have a real passion for progress, we evaluate, deploy and use new technology to make Arm better, now and in the future.You will work very closely with the Project and Engineering Managers who share responsibility to lead and deliver projects in terms of performance, cost, quality and on-time delivery. You will have a proven record of working as part of a project management and service delivery team across all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle.Your responsibilities will include:You will continuously improve evolving practices to reach standard methodology where not fully adopted or understoodEstablish common patterns to track and report progress/velocityYou will coach and develop the team to self-organise and work multi-functionallyEstablish waterfall theory, practices and rules into project/delivery teamsYou will be confident in driving teams to achieve target scope, schedule and costDefine and track resource and budget plansIdentifying and handling dependencies and impacts among projects across the portfolioResolving issues raised from related projectsEngaging with partners across Arm, including architects, technical IT authorities, business partners and vendorsLead partner interactions to improve the value built by the teamSuccessful delivery of the work, removing impediments and calling out blockers where necessaryFacilitate planning and estimation within project teamsThis role will require occasional travel to work across Arm global sitesJob RequirementsEssential Skills & Experience:Skills in influencing and negotiation methods and techniquesExperience of performing a Project Manager role. Our Arm Glasgow office is home to teams from our Cloud Services division in our IoT Services Group (ISG). Glasgow enthralls with theatres, galleries and museums, bustling nightlife and shopping rated the UK's best outside of London. You'll find Skypark in Finnieston, Glasgow's new business quarter. Set in the middle of the city centre and West End, Finnieston is a well-established, vibrant neighbourhood, home to some of the city's finest bars and restaurants.
