Your role

You will form part of the firm's management, statutory and specialist accounting function supporting the senior management. Your strong accounting and analytical skills will be critical to the ongoing development of our Finance teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and supporting notes
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Support monthly management accounting process delivering insight to yourclients
  • Assist in the consolidation of financial projections and plans.
  • Reporting and control of overheads.
  • Control of enabling area balance sheet.
  • Reconciliations of enabling area control accounts and sub-ledgers.
  • Ensuring workflows and approvals reflect business structures and are appropriate.
  • Creation, posting and control of journals and accruals.
  • Analysing reports to check for accuracy and consistency.
  • Control and correction of cost categorisation.

This role is based in Milton Keynes, but may require occasional travel.

This is a full time, permanent role. However, we are open to discussing agile and flexible working arrangements in line with business need.

Your professional experience
  • You must be studying towards a professional accounting qualification
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communications skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with at all levels within the business
  • An ability to work effectively within the team as well as being able to work on own initiative
  • Preferable: hands on experience of SAP and Analysis for Office
  • Preferable: experience of statutory accounts preparation
