Purchase Ledger Controller Job in Bournemouth

Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a successful and growing business in the Bournemouth area in recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Controller This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an increasingly successful organisation with great prospects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage a team of 3 Purchase Ledger Clerks

* Manage a delegate the workload of 11 ledgers

* Each ledger has approximately 3000 invoices per month so it will be your responsibility to ensure efficiency and accuracy is maintained within your team.

* Ensure all supplier statements are checked and reconciled by yourself or the team

* Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices answering any queries

* Assist with the integration of the Purchase Ledgers across different areas of the business, bringing them in house from external/other offices

* Be the main point of contact for any discrepancies

* Ensure all internal controls are adhered to

Knowledge and Experience:

* Previous experience managing a team

* Strong purchase ledger experience

* Experience of SAGE

* Excellent communication

* Positive and proactive attitude

Salary and Benefits:

* Circa £30,000 annual salary

* Full time permanent role Monday - Friday hours

* 20 days holidays + bank holidays

* Pension
