We are currently recruiting for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our client's lovely setting based in the Oxfordshire area. Successful candidates can expect a competitive salary, additional training and have the opportunity to grow and progress in their career in childcare.

Purpose of the Role:

To effectively work alongside a team in Early Years to deliver a stimulating and nurturing environment for childrenMain duties and responsibilities:

To work under the person in charge efficiently and carry out tasks set out by them to a high standard
To act as a designated key person, completing observations and planning activities for individual children
To Contribute to the everyday running of the Nursery
To help deliver a programme of age-appropriate activities designed to stimulate the children you are working with
To Adhere to the Nursery Safeguarding Policy and manage the safety of the children in your care at ALL times
To Build a strong and solid relationship with Parents, children and other staff members
Essential Skills:

A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
Passion and enthusiasm for providing a fun and stimulating environment for children
Experience of caring for young children from the ages of 0-5 years
Knowledge of the EYFS, the seven areas of learning and any other relevant assessment schemes
Able to communicate effectively with other staff members and build positive relationships
Desirable Criteria:

Recent First Aid Certificate
CPD Safeguarding and Child Protection trainingDue to the nature of this role, it will be necessary for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken, together with other safeguarding checks, including obtaining references from previous employers.
