Technical Account Manager / Service Delivery Executive required for my client based near Basingstoke for a permanent role, salary £30-35K + OTE (£45-50K) + benefits

My client are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager / Service Delivery Executive professional to perform a varied role for their customers.

Travel: this role will involve travel to client sites, which are predominantly based in London. This is likely to be around 50% of the role.

Key responsibilities:

· Building an in-depth business profile of customers
· Establishing a strategic and technical relationship with business owners and leaders
· Holding regular strategic review meetings
· Identifying business risk
· Delivering strategic IT direction
· Preparing and discussing IT budgets
· Outlining technology strategy and roadmaps
· Being an escalation point for service delivery related issues
· Upselling services and developing accounts where applicable
· Managing sales opportunities including qualification of requirements, preparing proposals etc.

This position is broad in its duties' and key to the ongoing success of the organisation.

You will work with Engineering teams and infrastructure auditors to assist the customer. You will be responsible for outlining proposals to customers based on IT vulnerabilities discovered through auditing, and building a strong relationship with the customer in order to build trust.

Experience required:

· Strong background within Technical Account Management / Service Delivery
· Technical background
· Flexibility to travel to London for meetings
· Experience working in an MSP / Value Added Reseller (VAR) / Distributor highly desirable
