We are looking for a Field Repair Manager to join our Gateshead Service Branch. Working as a Field Repair Manager, you will manage a small team of Engineers and Sub Contractors who will complete Major Repairs on all types of Industrial Lifts.
The role is to ensure that KPI's are met and that Engineers are adhering to company policies, ethics and Health and Safety requirements to ensure compliance on all work completed.
We are looking for effective communicators with previous lift experience; managerial experience is also desirable in this role. As training and developing your team is key, ideal candidates will hold a minimum of NVQ3 within Lift Engineering.
Skills and Experience
* A significant track record of success in a similar business environment
* Proven commercial acumen in the management of the team
* Able to communicate at all levels with customers, consultants and suppliers
* Strong leadership
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Good understanding technically of the lift industry in both the complex repair of products but also supply lines and other solutions
Responsibilities:
* Delivering targets
* Budgeting
* Customer Service/ Queries and complaints
* Credit control logs and CRM
* Customer feedbacks
* Absent reports and holidays
* Maintenance of Portfolio
* Personal Focus meetings with engineering staff
* Organisation of effective allocation and planning of all Major Refurbishments
* Organisation of Engineers training requirements
* Organisation of Engineers equipment and documents
* Personal Focus meetings with engineering staff
* Participation in the out of hours service management rota
Qualifications:
The successful applicant must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering
