Maintenance Manager


Salary £45K plus car allowance

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team in Newcastle to oversee a team and the maintenance across the estate.

The Role

You will have 2 direct reports plus the technical team and report into the Contracts Manager
Identify and help drive implementation of savings opportunities to ensure customer and company financial savings targets are maximized.
Drive high quality commercial performance through understanding the contractual commitments, better buying and use of preferred suppliers.
Provide leadership for the compiling of the Contract Review Business Unit pack
Compiling of the Customer Monthly Management Report
Ensure all calendar events for the position are met, i.e. Commercial updates, meetings etc.
Review of sub-contractor files, ensuring the Compliance Coordinator is maintaining all QHSE requirements
Review of PPM's to ensure compliance 100%
Measure engineer productivity against labour load and report on improvements
Review of EW's to ensure timings and manpower are correct
Site Log books compliance
Maintain eLogbooks
Provide technical support in all aspects of onsite engineering
Ensure that knowledge and skills are up to date in all aspects of hard facilities management
Organising training for the team
Updating of the team attendance planner
Arranging agency cover and submitting hours on portal
Culture carrier and promotes best practice
Obtaining supplier quotes and uploading onto the internal system for client approval
Updating Portals as and when required
Constantly improve quality, service and efficiency.
Achievement of Business Unit / Contract KPIs in line with business requirements

Hold Senior Technical Trades Qualification
Holds Safety qualification
Desirable - Degree level or (or equivalent)
Desirable - NEBOSH Nat Dip Standard
