My client are a manufacturing company in the Chorley area who are looking to appoint an Office Manager / Bookkeeper on a permanent basis. You will be part of a small friendly team within an organisation that have been established for approximately 25 years and are continuously striving to improve their product quality and pipeline. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company where you will have full autonomy across a variety of accounts duties.

Main Accounts Responsibilities:
  • Preparing monthly accounts to trial balance
  • Preparing and processing weekly & monthly payroll
  • Credit control duties
  • Bank reconciliations and managing cash flow & payments
  • Preparing ad hoc reports
  • Producing monthly profit & loss

Person Specification:
  • Experience of working across all areas of accounts (bookkeeper level)
  • Previous credit control experience is essential
  • Good accounts system experience with the ability to pick up systems quickly
  • Ability to prioritise a demanding workload
