Payroll Administrator

Are you a Payroll Administrator, looking for your next role that will allow you to gain a breadth of experience and contribute towards a growing organisation? BLK Management have a great Payroll Administrator opportunity available for an experienced candidate with strong organisational skills and a drive to provide a quality service.

This is a brand new, but busy role and is fundamental to the successful function of the team. You can expect responsibility from day one and the opportunity to make a real difference. You will be getting involved in a variety of different tasks, the core responsibilities will include:
  • Coordination of the timely collection & authorisation of timesheets
  • Recording times and values for invoicing to BLK's clients
  • Weekly CIS payments and Payroll for operatives
  • Pension scheme processing
  • Analysis of costs by job type and contact
  • Book keeping duties

This position reports to the Office Manager and you will receive guidance and training in familiarising yourself with the current systems. We're looking for someone with a strong analytical ability who has great attention to detail and a good work ethic.

Familiarity with Sage payroll and Sage accounts would be beneficial and any previous experience in the construction sector will be helpful to a candidate. You'll need to be a highly organised individual, used to working to deadlines in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have previous payroll and book keeping experience however we are happy to accept applications from individuals with synergetic experience and an interest in this sector.
