PPC Account Manager

We are now looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic and personable individual to join our small but award-winning digital marketing agency in central London. Working with a client base spanning a broad range of B2B and B2C industries where you will assist in the creation of campaigns that click, connect and convert. We pride ourselves on performance, attention to detail and client satisfaction. You'll need to have a willingness to 'get stuck in' and deliver amazing work.

As PPC Account Manager, you will:
  • Have a proven track record in Paid Search management and be comfortable handling large and complex accounts.
  • Develop initial keyword lists for internal and client review.
  • Write initial draft creative based on briefing materials and best practice.
  • Perform account diagnostics and report on the good, bad and ugly.
  • Be knowledgeable of the latest updates regarding industry tools and user interfaces (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, bid management and reporting platforms etc).
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and offer ideas and suggestions to improve and evolve agency process.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead meetings and strategy, take ownership of client success, managing their expectations, budgets and driving impact.
  • Show appropriate time management skills to include completion of projects on time and be proactive in quieter periods.
  • Develop knowledge of client businesses.
  • Complete accurate forecasts and cost estimates for planning and be proficient in competitor research tools as well as Google Analytics.
  • Provide new business support as needed.
  • Train and develop junior team members as needed.
  • Create and manage paid media campaigns across search and display networks, analyse and consistently test keyword and ad performance.
  • Manage bids and budgets according to client KPIs, optimising across multiple channels to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Communicate with clients by email, phone and in person on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as needed to ensure strong relationships.
  • Produce detailed monthly reports using our proprietary analytics platform as well as the engine accounts.
  • Support the Director in the new business pitch process.
  • Keep up to date on all industry developments.

Essential skills required:
  • An absolute minimum of 1 year of previous agency experience in a similar role.
  • You will be fully Google Ads certified (fundamentals and other exams required).
  • Highly numerate and fluent in Excel (including formulae and pivot tables).
  • Good presentation and inter-personal skills, comfortable communicating with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Native English proficiency both written and spoken.
  • Able to work independently.

Desirable skills:
  • Familiarity and experience in Programmatic advertising would be hugely desirable.
  • Familiarity and experience in Paid Social advertising would be equally beneficial.
  • Fluency in Keynote and PowerPoint.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working with Wordpress and some basic coding knowledge.
  • Second language would be a plus.
