The purpose of this role is to analyse, initiate, plan, manage and help communicate the Business Change activities required for a 3-year Digital Enterprise Programme. This role will help individuals make successful personal transitions resulting in the adoption and realization of change and, critically, support the successful realisation of value and pre-defined key results emerging from each change within the programme.

Establishing a baseline of colleague satisfaction and engagement to enable the objective demonstration of holistic improvements in both the awareness of and satisfaction with Digital Enterprise initiatives will be a critical first step. Reporting into the Director of Enterprise Change and working alongside Programme Managers, Delivery Leads, and Service Delivery Managers the role will be vital in ensuring collaboration in delivering and embedding change across the business.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop clear and complete definitions of value, change and the nature of the impact, to include the reasons driving the need to change
  • Stakeholder Strategy mapping and analysis
  • Change Readiness, Planning, and measurement
    Influence the willingness of the business to change and help to articulate and share a compelling vision of the future state
  • Develop and maintain a network of advocates for change, across the business
  • Work closely with colleagues in the Communications function to develop robust change communications strategies and plans
  • Design and deliver effective change management methodologies, tools and interventions at all stages of the change process. Manage the transition across specific project workstreams and service delivery to give colleagues a single view of Digital Enterprise improvements and change
  • Define success measures and assess, evaluate and report on the impact of the change and value realised
  • Assess the business readiness for change (and capacity to absorb change) to inform our approach
  • Work closely with the business architects and process improvers to ensure that new ways of working are defined and documented

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges
  • A keen willingness to drive awareness and understanding of Digital Enterprise, Technology, and the Commercial Value which they deliver
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Change management certification/designation desired - training provided
  • Depth and breadth of knowledge, skills, and experience in one or more of the following is desirable: operating within a programme environment, organisational development and transformation, communications and engagement, change psychology, HR policy, and process as related to structural change

Skills and Behaviours Required
  • Qualification or experience in Change Management preferable.

  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Experience with large-scale change efforts
  • Designing, using and applying change management principles, methodologies and too
  • Assessing and developing organisational preparedness and capacity for implementation of change
