The Building Products Finance head will manage the full P&L responsibility for all business activities within the Business Unit SI BP for Lead Country UK in close alignment with the RC GB BP Business unit head.

The role will be based in our fantastic Frimley office, which offers free parking, excellent café and an onsite gym.

This is your role. What part will you play?

In this role, you will report functionally to SI BP S&C EU FIN head and locally to the RC-GB SI PSS FIN Head as in country manager.

You will ensure the consideration of relevant strategic, commercial and financing aspects in all entrepreneurial decisions to drive the BP Business in the country, following the global strategic direction defined by SI BP.

As the BP Finance Head, you will lead the organization to achieve sustainable financial results and processes, with an optimal organizational structure and presence.

With responsibility to achieve the highest efficiency out of the available resources and evaluate investment alternative with the focus on maximizing returns.

Responsibility includes target setting, performance measurement, early warning and risk management, forecast and reporting for BP in the Lead Country.

Ensures and leads the organization to achieve sustainable best financial results and processes with an optimal organizational structure and presence, following the global strategic direction defined by SI BP.

Responsible for reporting and analyses for BP monthly figures and prepare reliable full year forecasts and provide inputs for the budgeting and target setting processes.

Responsible for ensuring that BP cost centers are kept within the agreed budget & bad debts.

Insofar as BP might have inventory in the country (not a must have requirement), he/she is responsible for managing it to maximize stock turns and minimize write-offs.

Is the interface for all aspects of reporting and controlling between BP HQ Controlling and the RC in order to improve efficiency and steers customers towards use of e-Biz platforms.

Cooperates with the local SI management team of RSS and PSS in order to optimize the overall business performance of SI in the lead country.
