Our Client are based in Shirley Solihull and are looking for an experienced payroll administrator with a salary of between £20000 to £22000, to work as part of a small friendly team (3 people + 1 Manager), who are in turn part of a larger accounting team of 20+ people.

Your main responsibilities will be the processing of gross pay into Sage Payroll software for several hundred people so you will need to be quick but obsessively accurate. Ideally you will also have a knowledge of PAYE/NIC/SMP/SSP etc as the role is one where the Client will develop you to eventually (at your own pace) become responsible for your own payroll, where you will be able to work from gross to net.

It is therefore critical that you have at least 2 to 3 years payroll experience in your current job, as the Client places great importance in their proud record of employees having long service records, so are not looking for a 'job hopper'

In addition to a salary of £20000 to £22000 there is a flexible working arrangement, free onsite car parking and entitlement to join the pension fund.
