Permanent | Colchester | £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Technical Service Manager is urgently required by our well-known consulting client. You will be responsible for the technical management of a wide range of bespoke services / applications. You will manage the day-to-day operations of allocated services, including major incidents & requests, and will lead the transition of services from old supplier to provision of live managed service.

Skills required:
- Demonstrable experience within service / application management position, managing numerous customers & services in conjunction with one another.
- Broad technical knowledge of services / applications relating to: Cloud & Hosting Services, Databases, hardware, networks, bespoke software, application integration / management, and similar.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and related service management & delivery best practices, processes, and methodologies.
- Understanding of service management tools and processes, such as: Service Desk, incident management, monitoring, alerting tools, CMDB, and similar.
- Strong team management and project management experience with a clear focus on delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience in managing customers, 3rd party suppliers, senior stakeholders, cross dimensional teams, and similar.
