Becoming a Tester with Travel & Events:

Working within an agile development team ensure the delivery of high quality software through the design and implementation of automated tests on new or existing Corporate Travel software. Improve the efficiency of the team using automation frameworks and test scripts to build in quality as early in the development process as possible.

What you will do:
  • Play a key part within a cross-functional agile team helping improve and refine working practices to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Working closely with the Product Owner, Stakeholders and other team members and contribute to story creation and discovery sessions.
  • Collaborate with testers, developers, SME's and other stakeholders to Identify appropriate testing strategies, frameworks and tooling to ensure software performs as required in a robust, reliable and secure manner.
  • Design, write and implement test automation scripts as part of the CI/CD delivery pipeline. Review and interpret testing results to improve the product quality and effectiveness of the delivery pipeline.
  • Work with the delivery team to obtain effective test coverage in an efficient manner by reusing automated Unit tests, Test Stubs and other Development test artefacts.
  • Work alongside analysts and developers to Investigate and correct problems in software
  • Drive improvement of the Testing function through constant Inspect and Adapt practices.

Your experience will include:
  • Significant automation testing experience in an Enterprise environment.
  • ISEB/ISTQB or similar qualification
  • Programming / Scripting and Database languages (C#, JavaScript, SQL etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of QA methodology, testing approaches, Test management software, automation frameworks and tools such as BDD, FDD, SpecFlow, StoryQ, Postman, SOAPUI, qTest, Zephyr, MS Test management, etc
  • Experience of working within an agile framework
