Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Food technology teacher on behalf of our client school located in Wigan.

Full time Food technology teacher - October 2019 start

Located close to Atherton, easily accessible from Salford, Manchester and Wigan areas'Due to a long term sickness, we require a Food technology teacher who is committed to delivering the highest standard of teaching and learning. The incoming Food Technology teacher will be able to stretch the learning of our more able pupils as well as raising attainment across the ability range. The incoming Food Technology teacher will hold a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes' - Head of Technology.

This secondary school is slightly larger than the national average with approximately 900 pupils on roll. The school is just a short drive away from the A577 and has an abundance of public transportation links to surrounding areas; Bolton, Salford and Wigan. The school recently benefitted from a renovation throughout a number of the departments with new facilities bringing a new energy in the classrooms. The Design and Technology department is spread across a number of disciplines but has a collaborative approach to teaching and learning to ensure pupil participation.

The school wish to appoint a Food Technology teacher who;

Hold a PGCE specialising in Secondary Technology
Has previous experience teaching Food technology
