Key Requirements

What you will be doing?

Challenge and drive the business leadership to achieve Targets.

Represent Finance on Regional Leadership teams

Forecasting / Budgeting the financial statements of their relevant business (P&L / Balance Sheet / Cashflow)

Modelling complex deals with Sales / Presales to assist win rate and ensure accurate modelling of associated deal risks

Analysis of the business to support the Regional Lead / Regional Management Team / Global Leaders / CFO and CEO

T&C's and commercial review of contracts to limit risk and maximise returns for Electrosonic incl negotiation with Customers. Coach and advise Sales teams to achieve best outcome for Electrosonic

Financial review of Projects with organisation to ensure accurate estimates to complete and risks are understood and mitigated within the organisation. Ensure accuracy of the POC calculation

Analysis, interpretation and presentation of the financial performance of the Business / Cost centres / Group etc

Build strong relationships across the organisation both within region and globally

Work with Accounting Team to ensure accurate and timely month end / Year End close

Challenge the processes, to drive improvements in terms of speed, accuracy and relevance of the output

Providing the Finance Business Partner support to the Group (Group Limited and Consolidated Group position) working closely with the CFO and CEO

Preparation and presentation of Reporting packs to stakeholders including EMEA Leadership / Global Leadership / Board and external parties

Ad Hoc projects incl M&A, New Market / New Product Analysis, transformation activities etc

Commission and Bonus Calculations (Actuals and Forecasts)

Ability to deputise for CFO as required

4. They are the interface or 'translator' between finance and operations, not afraid to get involved in the operation of the business when needed

6. They have strong core business skills including influencing, stakeholder management, and presentation skills

7. Successful finance business partnering is a way of thinking, at the heart of which is problem-solving

8. They interpret data, order and assess its value and then present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way

9. They can draw on 'big' and 'small' data, selecting the appropriate tools to manipulate, analyse and interpret it in sophisticated, audience-appropriate ways

10. Comfortable representing the company during customer / supplier negotiations

11. They must be able to form and stand over their opinions, have a well-developed sense of ethics and be prepared to stand up for these principles

12. They should be comfortable with risk and working with ambiguity

13. They learn from the past but are future orientated

14. Flexible with ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

15. Credibility and gravitas to challenge themselves, the finance team and the wider global business to continuously improve

What qualifications are required?

1. A recognised Accounting Qualification ACA / CIMA / ACCA

2. A Bachelor's degree

3. 15+ years' experience in similar role within a £30m+ Turnover business ideally globally

4. Experience gained within Service / Project Based / Construction / SI Business. Understand POC accounting

5. Integrity, good judgment and ability to protect commercially sensitive information

6. Proficiency with computers and standard office programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with Navision / Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft BI beneficial
