We are currently recruiting for a "Senior Customer Marking Manager" to join our customer focused team. In this role we want someone who will be responsible for the development, co-ordination and execution of value creating customer marketing strategies and plans with Key Accounts and channels based on their needs in line with overall company strategy. Key Responsibilities:What will you do as Senior Customer Marketing Manager?The Senior Customer Marketing Manager is an integral part of the Commercial team and will support and work with the key account buyers and key account managers, marketing, professional services, finance / analyst and sales management to deliver relevant and effective customer marketing plans. Key duties include:To conceive, construct and implement the company's UK customer marketing strategy and plans that enable CVI to achieve its financial objectives across the full range of contact lenses and care products, and lead the communication and sell into the sales force. This includes the following:Promotional programmes and other demand-creating initiatives;Pricing;Channel strategy;Sales platform;Support and sharing of best practicesContract managementTo deliver key category, customer and shopper insights that support sales teams to drive performance with key accounts and channels, always ensuring the customer 'voice' remains centralProactively identify, recommend and facilitate implementation of growth opportunities, showing thought leadership based on industry best practiceShow deep understanding of the retailers' issues and opportunities, and develop bespoke plans and programs as required which are capable of being fully executed. This includes acceptance by the store operations departments as well as the commercial buyers within key retailersInputs into EU customer marketing strategies and works with the EU teams to ensure a UK perspective is taken into consideration when developing EU/ global strategies.Deliver customer/ channel/category insights who develop a customer marketing annual plan, as well as shaping the brand and professional plans with the aim of maximising the range, display, space and distribution of CVI productsDevelop, monitor and review budgets for annual customer sales/ A&PUtilise metrics including salesforce.com to lead the development of increasingly sophisticated segmentation of customersAct as a champion for utilising category management strategies to drive growth, and develop appropriate sales tools and training support thisOwn the CVI added-value service offering, i.e. offerings that serve to increase the closeness of relationships to key customers or channelsTo work with key account managers as a core member of customer business teams, with the aim of consistently achieving or over-achieving sales targets and developing strong partnershipsTo improve quality, consistency and return of trade marketing activities by working closely with the key account and marketing managers.
