A proactive Data Reporting Manager with experience of delivering effective and accurate management information is needed to join an established and successful company at their offices on the outskirts of Exeter, near the M5.

This is a highly visible, key position within the business where the postholder will be leading a team and reporting to the Finance Director, with a wide range of responsibilities.

Data Reporting Manager - The Role:
  • Leading the management information team and overseeing the daily, weekly and monthly MI reporting, which uses SQL and data models
  • Creating, developing and delivering the MI reporting roadmap
  • Working closely with stakeholders to identify and understand data and MI requirements
  • Identify, implement and test processes to ensure outputs are consistent and accurate.
  • Improve dashboards and reports to enhance data understanding.
  • Develop user access to data in PowerBI
  • Oversee data and MI projects, developing and designing new MI applications
  • Managing Compliance, Governance, Quality and Risk including identification and implementation of data quality and governance processes, implementing internal and external audit requirements, maintaining systems and controls as well as process maps
  • Providing ad hoc analysis and data reporting
  • Leading and promoting change within the business as needed

Data Reporting Manager - The Rewards:

This company is offering a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000pa plus superb benefits including holiday, bonus, generous pension, life assurance free parking, etc.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm)

Data Reporting Manager - The Person:
  • The successful candidate will have a proactive, high energy approach and enjoy being in a busy, varied role in a change environment.
  • A track record in managing staff with the ability to positively manage others and lead by example.
  • Current skills including SQL and data models, advanced user in MS Office, experience of Power BI, report writing, data interrogation and analysis.
  • A natural problem-solver with excellent analytical skills, able to analyse, understand and explain complex information.
  • First rate communicator able to inspire, persuade and influence.
