A Conveyance & Key International Account Manager is responsible for the management of the International Line Haul team, reporting directly to the International Settlements Team Leader within the finance business unit.

About the role

Responsible for the timely payments of International Conveyance charges, ensuring processes remain compliant and are carried out in line with UPU regulation and supplier contracts. Also overseeing changes and maintenance to the conveyance rates as provided by network/procurement teams.

Ensuring all Conveyance/Line haul contractual obligations are met, including all payment deadlines and that supplier charges are confirmed against records of mail conveyed, with any discrepancies being investigated and resolved. Managing the recording of Conveyance/Linehaul traffic and associated costs in the ICMS mainframe system, to ensure accurate, up to date management information is available.

To Liaise with Procurement regarding annual Air, Shipping & Trucking Conveyance rate renewal exercise. Along with the Network team to effectively accrue and manage the finances around Line Haul traffic.

Creative and innovative in your approach, you'll provide system support for the ICMS mainframe system as well as future systems, specifying enhancements and undertaking User Acceptance Testing.

About you

You'll have demonstrable Finance Background/experience, working to tight deadlines, strong communicator, both written and verbal and Strong knowledge of Procure to Pay processes (P2P).

With a genuine passion for true Business Development you'll enjoy working in a challenging and fast paced environment. The Key to this role is the ability to plan your approach effectively, managing numerous tasks concurrently, demonstrating willingness, Drive, Determination and Grit.

Desirable knowledge of: interacting with Line haulers/Airlines and ground handlers.

Finance qualification preferred: (AAT/CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
