Junior Project Manager
Up to £30,000 per annum

My client based in Warrington is searching for a Junior Project Manager for an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

Role profile
The Junior Project Manager is responsible for the complete project management and planning activities of select department projects. They will have a good understanding of payroll or salesforce and have experience working in both an Agile and Waterfall environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of projects through various stages of delivery, to project closure
* Work with the Solution Architect and Technical Teams to assess technical feasibility and assess the impact of new projects and change requests
* Maintain a set of comprehensive project documentation for all stages of the project life cycle
* Maintain the Project Management Framework ensuring its continual improvement
* Deliver concise yet comprehensive project status reporting to senior stakeholders
* Report on Project Budgets for both internal and external spend
* Support the management of Risk vs Cost vs Benefit and Time/Cost/Quality decisions
* Management of Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies related to any project
* Governance of both budgets and benefits and ensures benefits are realised in line with business cases
* Monitor and control all Critical Path Activities for projects throughout the portfolio

Skills and experience
* Experience with Salesforce
* Previous experience with payroll
* Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and methodologies (agile and waterfall)
* Experience of the delivery of projects to time, cost and quality requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with both non-technical people and senior management
* An open, honest, professional and friendly disposition with a keen eye to detail
* Experience of operating in a fast-paced business, be able to deliver under pressure
* Be able to clearly communicate and articulate solutions for complicated technical problems
* Understand budgetary control and resource allocation procedures.
