Are you a PE teacher with balls*? Then CER want you on our team!

(*footballs, tennis balls. Rugby balls or basketballs)

CER are looking for experienced and enthusiastic PE teachers for roles in schools in our client schools in Darlington and the surrounding areas.

Ideally you will be an experienced PE teacher, capable of delivering challenging yet engaging Key Stage 3 and 4 PE lessons, but Stage 5 would be a bonus as some of our Darlington schools have Sixth Form cohorts. However, applications from hungry PE NQTs would also be welcomed and we could get you that all-important first step on your teaching career in your specialist subject.

You will possess a UK-recognised teaching qualification, with an ability to demonstrate proven behaviour management skills when called upon. You will encounter learners with mixed ability levels and so a flexible, friendly and patient approach to teaching is key. Most of all you will have a passion for your subject and a desire for the learners in your care to succeed.

CER are an established education recruitment agency, with over 20 years' experience in the primary, secondary and SEN sectors. When you join us you can expect access to 'outstanding' CPD training to develop your skillset, competitive rates of pay and a dedicated specialist secondary consultant with close relationships to the major secondary schools in the Darlington area who will work tirelessly to match your experience within PE to the right role for you. We offer both flexible working for those looking for part-time roles and full-time PE teacher roles for those looking for a more long-term opportunity.

If you feel you are a PE teacher with the relevant skills, experience and passion, we would love to hear from you by applying to this advert or calling and asking for Chris Mahon (bonus points for the correct pronunciation!).

I look forward to hearing from you soon!
