We are looking for an ambitious Room Leader to join our Harwell Day Nursery (OX11). This special someone will have a level 3 or above qualification in Early Years or QTS in Education, and will feel passionately towards the childcare industry.

Bright Horizons Harwell, Didcot is located close to the A34 and the B417 on the Harwell Oxford Science, Technology and Business Campus, making it ideally situated for employees and local residents. As well as large outside play areas the nursery has a separate baby unit for the under 2's with 3 rooms and their own garden.

The Nursery benefited from a full refurbishment in 2019 and have also recently been awarded a 'Good' by Ofsted (Sept 18). Ofsted stated "Staff provide a warm and welcoming environment, they know the children well and establish positive and trusting relationships with them".

Boogie beats make fortnightly visits and Madam Wright is a guest every Wednesday morning spending time with our children who are going off to school in September

As Room Leader, some of your duties will include...

a) Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues

b) Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times

c) Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS

d) Overseeing the smooth running and high quality practice within the room

You may have experience of the following: Childcare Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, Play worker, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, and Early Years Educator, QTS, Primary Education, Childminder, Early Childhood.*Terms and Conditions Apply
