Aftersales & Parts Sales Person - Engineering - Flexible hours - BONUS

Our client is looking for an Aftersales Executive to focus on developing the sales of spare parts into existing and new customers. Creating and building on relationships in order to achieve sales of spare parts or service plans.

The company is part of a European manufacturer of process equipment for a number of industries including food, chemical and pharmaceutical.

Role / Activities:
  • Supporting existing customers and capturing new customers
  • Enquiry handling for spare machine parts
  • Issuing quotations for same
  • Closing orders for same
  • Sales Order Processing on to MS Navision ERP system
  • 80% standard parts / 20% special and non-standard parts
  • One-man - One-business. Great chance to shine and be recognized. Previous incumbents are now machine sales engineers and a Sales Manager.
  • Not a passive role. Lots of customer interface (verbal, email, visits) and relies on building a supplier-customer trust
  • Full training provided - product, component, ERP, company systems, etc.

  • Makes things happen -
  • See's things through to the end - doesn't just give up or forget to return to an action
  • Wanting to learn
  • Accurate, with attention to detail
  • Willing to ask colleagues for input and assistance, especially in the early days.
  • Likewise, having been trained and fully functional, needs to be able to take full responsibility for the Spares Sales business.
  • Ambitious - there is a real opportunity in this role to prove yourself.
