Project Manager - Software delivery - based in Loughborough

Our client works in close partnership with their clients to ensure a smooth transition. The project manager oversees the full lifecycle of the project, managing the relationship to ensure a 'win win'. The business are very proud of their record of success and as such they have never lost a client and have a fantastic reputation both as a software provider and an Investor in People.

Key skills/experience:
•Good understanding of software project methodology
•Experience with large and complex business software (ERP for example)
•Good overall knowledge of how projects work
•Building and maintaining relationships with customers
•Managing the collaboration, movement and delivery of project plans
•Handling multiple projects concurrently

Any experience within the retail sector would be highly beneficial also.

The role:
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a project manager to join their team. They have excellent relationships with their customers, often going back many years. The role of the project manager will be to work with the customers to understand their business goals and offer a solution to them that is in line with these, appropriate for the business and that will help them to evolve and grow.

You will need to be a project manager who is capable of thinking on your feet and presenting practical, realistic solutions. The role can be challenging at times and we are looking for someone that does not shy away from challenges, but rather enjoys the problem solving aspect of the role and is willing to actively seek out solutions proactively. If this sounds like you, you will find the role rewarding and likely will progress quickly within the organisation.

Travel is part of the role and there are some early starts and late finishes. You are likely to be out of the office on average 1-2 days per week visiting clients across the UK.

The right individual for this role will be motivated by delighting their clients and seeing the impact of their work on the clients' businesses as the project takes shape.

£32,000 - £40,000 + car allowance £400 per month.
