During the past 20 years the company's transport planning team has developed an impressive array of skills and a considerable track record of achievement. Our extensive portfolio of projects involves working with various major clients in the transport industry, throughout the UK and Ireland.

Within our UK Transport Planning Business, we have an opportunity for a Transport Planner to complement our current team in Swindon. You will be involved in the technical delivery of a range of transport planning projects including strategy, appraisal, public realm, traffic engineering, modelling and business case projects, with opportunities to work for various high-profile clients across the UK and Ireland.We are looking for a Transport Planner to fulfil a range of analytical, policy/strategy and business case development functions.

We will expect:

A degree qualified in a relevant discipline.

You must have experience as a Transport Planner / Traffic Engineer for multi-modal transport and scheme development studies with the ability to contribute to the success of a range of high-profile transport projects.

Ability to produce clear, precise and coherent analysis and reports using data from transport models and scheme appraisal techniques.

Proficient user of MS Office.


MSc in a relevant Transport discipline or equivalent experience.

Evidence of working towards a Chartered Engineer or other relevant professional membership / accreditation e.g. CIHT, TPP, CEng etc.

Experience of the development and use of strategic and micro-simulation modelling software.

Experience on public transport and/or active travel projects.

Wider experience of local transport planning work e.g. travel plans, network management, data collection, business case development etc.
