Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer job in Kettering. Working Double day shifts (6-2, 2-10), Monday to Friday.

Your new role
You will join a skilled Maintenance Engineering team looking after a range of hi-tech equipment. Your main accountabilities will be fault diagnosis and troubleshooting electrical, electronic and mechanical problems on machines; drive a pro-active maintenance and repair approach; ensure that adequate and appropriate spare parts are readily available.
Your main duties will include:

PPM an reactive maintenance
Dealing with unexpected breakdowns
Fault finding and rectification
Ordering spare parts
Promoting safe working practices
PLC fault finding
Continuous improvement
What you'll need to succeed
You have experience of working as a multi-skilled maintenance electrician with the ability to carry out mechanical repairs. You are able to read and fault find from electrical and electronic schematic drawings and can demonstrate experience of working with a maintenance schedule. You are a team player with good verbal communication and the ability to communicate complex technical information to Managers, suppliers and OEMs. You self-motivation and ability to apply initiative when tackling repairs and maintenance will be very useful to you in this job, as will your working knowledge of PLC controls, primarily Siemens, and Inverter AC Drives.
