This is a newly created role within a leading, world class manufacturing business, phenominal business growth in recent years and moving forwards an exciting time of NPI. We seek an experienced (3-5 years) Project Manager to manage in-house software development projects from inception to delivery

First key project will be the development and delivery of a new PC-based software product. That product will integrate and revamp the features from several legacy software solutions into a single web-based software platform with sellable options including Content Management System.

Working in conjunction with Software Engineering team (based primarily in the UK) also partners in mainland Europe

Oversee and plan the creation of deliverables such as:

O Software Product Requirements and User Stories

O Software Architecture and Software Design Specifications

O Software Test Specifications

O Software Releases

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 3 to 5 years of project management experience of software product development.

• Strong experience of leading both Agile and Waterfall software development projects (evidenced on the CV)

• A proven track record of managing complex software design projects involving off-site and off-shore team members.

• Strong stakeholder management

• Good knowledge of MS Project and the MS Office Suite.

• Some knowledge of Cloud and Web based technologies a plus.

• French language a strong plus

• PM certifications an advantage

• Graduate degree preferable but not necessary.

• Technically minded, with excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers.

• Extremely well-organised and methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail.

• Excellent written and oral communications, including reports, concise summaries and presentations.

• Willingness to travel on occasions, both nationally and internationally, as required.

This is an extraordinary opportunity and this client would consider relocation but candidates MUST already be eligible to work in the UK.
