Could you lead, shape and inspire at Askham Bryan College?

Protocol are pleased to be working exclusively to recruit for the key position of Principal and Chief Executive at Askham Bryan College.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding leader to join Askham Bryan College to shape its strategic vision for the future and inspire this vibrant organisation through the next stage of its journey. As a medium sized multi-sited organisation, the College has a catchment area of over 10,000sq miles across the north of England. Centres extend from its base at York, throughout Yorkshire, Cumbria, and the North East.

Askham Bryan is a unique provider offering one of the most diverse ranges of agricultural resources available in the country. Ofsted assured as a Good college, with a recent Outstanding residential care standards grade and an excellent academic record, it is an impressive college in every aspect. Keen to continue to build on its reputation and performance, the new Principal & Chief Executive will strengthen the College's position and identity, building further on its success at a pivotal time, working alongside the Corporation to determine the strategic direction of the organisation over the forthcoming years.

You will be a proven, ambitious senior leader, tuned in to today's many sector challenges with innovative ideas and foresight to position the college to meet the next ones. You may be an established Principal or CEO looking for a new challenge or a highly accomplished Deputy or Vice Principal ready now to lead your own college. You will have GFE or specialist land based experience with a proven record of high achievement ideally within a curriculum or skills background, and possess strong business and financial acumen. Above all you will have the ability to inspire those around you and the passion to reshape the college to maximise the potential for its learners across the North of England. In return, the college is offering a progressive, market rate salary package, a supportive committed Board of Governors, underpinned by superb staff and students who they are very proud of.
